A car’s resale value is one of the most important factors that should be looked at when considering the purchase of a new vehicle. Buying the right vehicle now can save the consumer thousands of dollars over the course of the life of the car.
Raj Sundaram, and ALG spokesman, said that “Acadia stands out from the competition by combining features that you would expect from a luxury brand with rugged styling, a roomy interior and a fuel-efficient V6 engine. These attributes were major factors in helping it claim the top spot in the full-size utility vehicle segment.”
The auto show didn’t just prove Acadia to have the best residual value either! The Acadia and the smaller Terrain SUV both earned Consumer Digest’s “Best Buy” awards in each of their categories. Each category awards less than three percent of these “Best Buy” awards and the Acadia and Terrain were each part of that three percent.
Both the Terrain and the Acadia are developing more and more technologies to continue to provide customers with some of the best residual values. The Terrain is employing the IntelliLink ifotainment system as part of its plan to create a vehicle with great residual value for its customer and the innovative front and center airbag that was recently developed by GM for the Acadia is set to do the same.
“These accolades from ALG and Consumer Digest verify what many of our customers already know – that GMC’s Professional Grade vehicles continue to deliver great value,” said Brian Sweeney, U.S. vice president of Buick GMC Sales and Service.
